Free From Chains

As I am writing this blog, it is substantial to take note that I am also a child. National Children's Month is celebrated every November and it is all about the rights of children. Most children at the younger end of the scale usually pay no attention to this, but it helps them either way.

One of the children's right is the right to education, healthcare, and opportunities to thrive. Children need education because it develops their critical thinking and intellectual growth while equipping them with the knowledge and abilities needed to manage the challenges of the outside world. By realizing their full potential, education also enables kids to make significant contributions to society and fosters social and economic advancement. In order to guarantee children's physical health and appropriate development, as well as to manage current health issues and lay the conditions for a healthy adulthood, healthcare is crucial. A lifetime of well-maintained health is encouraged by timely access to medical treatment, which not only prevents and treats illnesses but also helps with early diagnosis of possible concerns. Children must have the chance to succeed since it establishes a platform for all of their development, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development. Giving children these kinds of chances helps them reach their full potential and improves society as a whole by equipping the next generation with knowledge and self-assurance.

Another right to children is the right to grow up in a safe and nurturing environment. Children need to grow up in a safe and supportive environment because it lays a basis for their emotional health. Healthy attachments to peers and caregivers can be developed by young people in a secure setting because it provides a sense of stability and trust. The development of a healthy self-image and the courage to investigate their surroundings depend on this steadiness. Furthermore, a secure atmosphere helps kids concentrate on their education and growth, encouraging mental, social, and emotional development that prepares them for a fulfilling and enjoyable adult life.

The right of children to be free from harm and discrimination is another right celebrated this month. For children's overall growth and well-being, it is important that they are protected from harm and discrimination. First of all, a caring and secure atmosphere helps children's physical health by enabling them to develop and develop without the negative consequences of stress or trauma. Second, a child's sense of self-worth and belonging is nurtured by being free from discrimination, which helps them develop strong self-esteem and wholesome social bonds. Thirdly, it creates the foundation for an inclusive society in which kids embrace diversity and learn to value differences, all of which promote peaceful coexistence. In the end, shielding kids from abuse and prejudice is an investment in their future since it gives them the tools they need to grow up to be resilient, caring adults who can positively impact their communities.

First of The Four

Our journey has been going on for quite some time now. 25% of being grade 10 students have already passed and 75% more until we part ways, I look forward to spending the rest of this time with everyone. I admit, starting off this school year was kind of awkward. Only a portion of the class was familiar since we had to part ways with the ones we were with last school year. The early weeks of this tale felt like there was some sort of barrier between one of us. I've always thought that this was because everyone was thinking that they were still 'Boyle' and 'Becquerel' rather than thinking that they were all 'Maxwell'.

After quite some time, we've started to synergize with each other. We're all having fun and we will continue to have more fun moments as this school year goes on. From awkward stares, we've gone to infectious laughter. Time is moving and we're done with the awkward phase. It's time we make more memories and help each other out in times of need. We no longer see ourselves merely as classmates, but also as friends.

It has been an honor being assigned to the section of 'Maxwell'. It has also felt like a legacy among friends that have been assigned to this section before. I guess its name does hold some sort of string—a connection—. Even if everyone seems to be busy with their own lives now, they've all walked down this path before. They've left footprints—the memories that they had—for us to discover. And this time, it is our footprints that are going to be left out for the next Maxwellians. I am proud and confident to finally say.. All is well, Maxwell.
